Most of the photos were taken in the Badlands of North Dakota. The others were taken in Northern British Columbia and in Oregon.  We have ranched in all those places including Southern Alberta.

Everyone who has read Stuff 'N Things loved it.

Some favor the story of Flash the cow dog,

others like the excitement of "Big Bear" (getting chased by a Silver Tip Grizzly)

and many prefer "The Sacred Place"

One lady wrote a 24 paragraph letter after reading Stuff 'N Things emphasizing which pages captivated her including the following;

"On page 11, she says she's not "good at spin'n great big yarns," but she certainly knows how to explore old memories and capture the important things in this life."

"15.  "Old Suicide,"  WOW!  Can't believe he was quiet enough for someone to take a picture."

"19.  It was also on that trip that I met true gentlemen.  "A Tip of the Hat" says it all."

"40.  I was disappointed when the book ended,  I hope there is another one in Jody.  I love the condensed language of poetry mainly because so much can be said in a few words, and she does it so well.",

At a writers conference another author said this book should sell for $25 as it is all heavy paper with quality old time western photographs.  The photos were condensed on the website so pages would load faster.
